After School
is offered to the children of Flixton Infant and Flixton Junior schools
at the Jubilee Room of St. Monica's Church, Woodsend Road South, Flixton.
The children are collected from the Infant  school
at 3.15 and at 3.30 from the Junior School.
The children walk with an escort to the Jubilee Room wearing
hi-vis yellow jackets. Their safety is paramount and great care
is taken and the children are taught the rules of the road,
how to care for each other and to behave in a manner
which makes us proud to walk with them.
At Club the children are given a light snack and
a drink with an aim to provide healthy eating.
On dry days the children are given a free choice as to whether
they wish to go to the playground to let off steam.
Those chosing to stay indoors are given a
free choice of activities to include various board
games, construction, quiet play, role play etc.
There is always a specialist craft activity
going on which they can join in if they wish
Breakfast Club
is available to the children at the Jubilee Room
where the children are given breakfast of Cereal, Toast or
Cumpets, Milk or Juice. The children walk to school
again with safety, manners and care being paramount,
accompanied by a member of Cool Kids staff.
